NETBALL COURT HOTS UP AS PARTNERS SIGN UP
The Haier Pulse netball franchise is proud to announce Resene and Hope Brothers as the two new associate sponsors for the 2010 regional season.
“Round one of the ANZ Champs started at the weekend and the Haier Pulse are playing tonight, so it is excellent timing to announce these partners have joined the team,” says Haier Pulse CEO Bridget Abernethy. “It is just the ticket before the first whistle blows.”
Abernethy is delighted these two sponsors have come in behind the team and says it is a signal to Haier Pulse netball fans that 2010 is going to be our best season yet.
“Getting the right financial partners behind the Pulse is essential to providing the highest performance environment for our players – we are thrilled to hit the court tonight with such support,” Bridget Abernethy said.
“Resene is a very strong New Zealand company born and bred here in Wellington. With the colour palette of the Haier Pulse being the snazziest in the competition, we think Resene is the perfect partner.”
Nick Nightingale Managing Director of Resene said the Haier Pulse Captain, Jane Altschwager rang him to thank them for their support.
“This type of leadership demonstrates that the team is stepping out with an attitude to win. We are thrilled to be part of this new-look team,” he said.
The Haier Pulse is also delighted at the new partnership with Dixon Street bar and restaurant Hope Bros. Owner and self-confessed netball nut Michael Wallace said: “We have followed regional netball for years and are proud to be the home of netball and are really excited to give support at both the regional and franchise level.”
