The Pulse return to Wellington a happy team after a pleasing start to the season at the traditional pre-season hit out in Queenstown this weekend.

Following a first up win against the Mystics on Friday night the Pulse then played the hosts suffering a nine point loss. The Southern Steel prevailing 64-53.

Following this the Pulse faced the youthful AIS team and played with control and composure to secure a resounding 65-33 win.

On the third of three busy days of netball the Pulse again returned a mixed bag with a first up loss to the Firebirds from Queensland 48-39 before reversing their fortunes against the Tactix in the afternoon session 50-40.

So a 3 win 2 loss record from the first serious netball competition of the season sees the Pulse happy with their start to 2010. With players still returning from injury to join the squad this bobes well for the season ahead.
