The Board of the Pulse welcomed the players and support staff to Wellington for the 2010 ANZ Championship at a team function last night and wished them well for the challenges ahead .

Board chairman Nigel Kirkpatrick spoke of the challenge ahead and his belief that the team had both the ability and atitude to achieve results that have previously eluded the Pulse franchise. He commented that for the first time in the short history of the Pulse all aspects of the organisation were aligned.

These sentiments were echoed by CEO Bridget Abernethy who also acknowledged the sponsors present thanking them for their support in 2010.

The team were in good spirits with all but the good doctor Camilla Lees present.  The players spoke highly of the recent camp to kick off on-court preparations. They have pre-season tournments coming up in Queenstown and Sydney.
